Screening Monday October 3rd is WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, screening at The Village Cinema. Based on Maurice Sendak's childrens classic book of the same name, the film centres on a lonely young boy named Max who sails away to a magical island inhabited by creatures known as the "Wild Things", who declare Max their king.

Before the film, you can head along to The Artery for the WILD THINGS DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP hosted by Roxanne Milson.
This workshop is an introductory session in digital illustration for ages 10 and over. A great opportunity if you've ever wanted to, or wanted your child to, tap into the digital realm of illustration.

Time: 10am – 1pm
Where: The Artery
Cost: $50
Ages: 10+
Participants must bring their own iPad, Tablet or laptop, preferably with a pen or stylus. Devices must have at least one of the following programmes to use in the workshop: either Procreate, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Artrage, Krita, GIMP – These last two are free programmes!
This workshop is also open to those who are interested in digital illustration but don't yet have a digital device. They are welcome to join in with their own drawing materials.
