After being inspired by Hortons determination and courage to 'protect the Speck' and its residents in the screening of Horton Hears a Who, kids can wonder down from the Village Cinema to the Creative Campus to express their own determination and courage to protect the speck!
Kids and families can come and join our art tutor Sam Doran for a little nature walk around the village, collecting things from the forest floor that they can then use to create beautiful artworks.
Painting, tracing, rubbing, taping, doodling, splattering, brushing - anything goes. Kids and their carers will be encouraged and guided in creating their own free form artwork on paper, to take home with them or to gift to whom they choose, as a reminder to be like Horton and protect things that need protection.
