  • Pinch Pot Creatures - using the pinch pot method and adding features to create an animal or any creature in their imagination.
  • Make a Vase or Pencil Cup - use the slab technique to build a vase or pencil cup and decorate it with texture and cookie cutter shapes, or their own designs.
  • Adventures on the Wheel - have a fun, messy time spinning clay and making pots on the pottery wheel.
  • Make a coil pot - using the coiling method they can make a trinket bowl or other vessel and decorate it with their own individual additions.

We will have four experienced potters facilitating the activities and guiding your child/ren through the creative process. The emphasis will be on fun and creativity!

Included costs:
The price includes the firing and glazing of one finished piece per child per activity, so 4 pieces in total.

Please bring:
Please provide morning and afternoon tea, and lunch for your child. We will provide breaks between activities for your child to eat and drink.
Your child/ren may want to wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty, as potting is a lot of fun and a little messy!
Please make sure your child/ren are wearing closed-toe shoes. This is a health & safety requirement.

Drop off and Pick up:
You can drop off your child/ren between 8.45 and 9am. Activities will start at 9am sharp.
You can pick up your child between 3pm and 3.15pm. Parents are welcome to stay with their child/ren for the day too.

Collection of finished pieces:
It will take 3 weeks for us to bisque fire the pieces, glaze them with a durable shiny finish, and then high-fire them again to seal them. All creations can be collected after 3 weeks time, within the hours of 9.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-1pm Saturdays.
