This workshop will introduce participants to the traditional handmade craft of jewellery making – working with sterling silver.
First, participants will decide on a design and size. Using a jewellers' saw, they’ll then cut your precious metal, anneal, pickle, shape, form and solder your ring. Together, the group will discuss different types of solder and how they are used, as well as, filing and sanding metal. Rings will be finished with polish and if time allows, a bezel and stone can be added at an extra cost, depending on the stone.
