DESCRIPTION:Our practical, interactive half-day MENTAL HEALTH FIRST RESPONSE\nRECERTIFICATION is designed to offer Mental Health First Responders\nan opportunity to refresh their skills, and reflect on support\nconversations they've had. We review modules 1 and 3 of the MHFR\ncourse, re-visiting our mental health support platforms (attitudes\nrelated to mental health), and our early intervention CONVOS\nframework. There is then time to practice the skills using timely,\nrelevant scenarios. Participants are introduced to resources they can\nuse for ongoing practice with their cohort and colleagues back at\nwork.\n\nNOTE: YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED OUR MHFR TRAINING AS A PRE-REQUISITE FOR\nTHIS TRAINING. \n\nThis course is comprised of:\n\n1. MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT PLATFORMS REFRESHER - this session\nreinforces a strong foundation for all understandings of best support\npractices. \n\n2. CONVOS SUPPORT FRAMEWORK REFRESHER - practice session using our\nconversational framework to help you provide mental health support\nearly.\n\n3. WIDENING SUPPORT NETWORKS\n\n4. PRACTICE/ROLE PLAY AND GROUP REFLECTION TIME\n\n \n\nSOME TESTIMONIALS FROM RECERTIFICATION PARTICIPANTS:\n\n_The CoLiberate MHFR recertification programme is a good refresher for\nall MHFRs. CoLiberate has very friendly and positive course leaders\nwho provide a comfortable space to support your learning!_\n\n_----------------------------_\n\n_I found the experience to be so instrumental in my role as a peer\nsupporter. The content was updated with examples of lockdown as well\nas some other really great examples that allowed our team to explore\nand really dig deep and ask some questions that prompted\nconversations. I especially love the Jamboard which made things\ninteractive and we could all see what each person had typed and posted\nup! This recertification gives me the confidence to be able to\ncontinue to have some courageous conversations with people who reach\nout and/or those who need a shoulder._\n\n_----------------------------_\n\n_The re-certification training had been beneficial to remind me of how\nto frame conversations when supporting someone undergoing a mental\nhealth crisis. Sometimes, it may not be a crisis, it may just a friend\nor a family member who just wants a listening ear, non-judgmental, and\nwho does not want you to solve their problem. The training from\nCoLiberate is a good and safe way to practise these skills._\n\n_----------------------------_\n\nALL SESSIONS HAVE:\n\n∙ Participatory learning approach   \n\n∙ Updated timely and relevant practice scenarios   \n\n∙ Visual, game-based and participant-led learning environment   \n\n∙ Highly skilled and experienced facilitators \n\n \n\nCertificate and MHFR e-badge given and valid for 1 year on completion.\n\n_----------------------------_\n\nKeen to do this training but these dates don't work for you? Please\nfill out our Expression of Interest form\n[https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jqJjjm_k8idQpovJR8GWX2A5LqCZ0utCEGmssCiPPCU] and\nwe will be in touch with future training dates.\n\nPlease don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about\nthis training at hello@coliberate.co.nz\n\n \n - coliberate.nz@gmail.com - https://www.eventspronto.co.nz/RecertFeb2024
