In many cases the TBI’s are severe and\nmay result in long-term physical, cognitive and behavioural\nimpairments. Studies have also found that victims of family violence\nare more likely to suffer TBI’s than the general population. These\ninjuries can have a significant impact on victim’s lives. The cost\nof these injuries is often hidden. Our six keynote speakers are all\ninfluential voices and renowned figures in this space. With their\nextensive and diverse knowledge, research, advocacy, and experience,\nthey have all dedicated many years to improving access to care,\nraising awareness, and building the capability of the people\nsupporting victim-survivors.\n\nDR.
