DESCRIPTION:We are lucky enough to have the talented Scott Brough coming to take a\nworkshop on Saturday 23rd of September from 2-6pm. \n\nScott (@scottyb.nz [http://scottyb.nz/]) is a potter living in\nHastings/Heretaunga, particularly inspired by Japanese and Korean\nceramics, as well as folk pottery traditions from around the world.\nScott makes functional pottery, approaching it with flair, style and\nplayfulness. Since completing the Otago Polytechnic Diploma of Ceramic\nArt in 2018, Scott's work has been featured in many exhibitions and is\navailable in a number of shops and galleries around Aotearoa.\n\nThe workshop itself will be taken as a demonstration of Scott's unique\nstyle and process with a focus on preparing and choosing clay and\nmaterials alongside his approach to handles, trimming and throwing on\nthe kick wheel.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for all skill levels and is not strictly\nlimited to potters.
