In this introductory workshop\nwe hope to inspire you to get weaving and tell your story through\ntukutuku.\n\nTukutuku are found in Wharenui (meeting house). The walls are\nadorned with Tukutuku panels each telling stories of our ancestors.\n\nTUTOR: NGAWAIATA SELLARS\nWhat: Story telling through Tukutuku\nDate: Wednesday, 15th June\nTime: 6.30 - 8.30pm\nWhere: The Artery\nCost: $10\n\nTukutuku are made with various materials such as natural fibres like\nkiekie and pingao. That are then traditionally dyed with flora and\nfauna native to Aotearoa.
