DESCRIPTION:Midwave Breaks celebrate NZ Music Month 2022 with their first ever\nlive show, performing an intimate showcase at The Jam Factory.\nLaunching during the Covid pandemic may have delayed their live\nconnection, but the Alt-Rock Duo have made an impressive impact at\nRock Radio since releasing their debut single ‘Lemonade Hand\nGrenade’ in 2021. \n\nThe band features former Supergroove drummer, and West End ‘Stomp’\nperformer Paul Russell, joining forces with his brother in arms from\nlate 90’s Auckland rockers Eight, singer-songwriter and guitarist\nBruce Conlon. The music is a modern take on the soundtrack of their\nyouth - epitomized by 80’s-90’s alternative rock/pop - evoking\nhints of Springsteen and Petty, Cornell and Vedder. \n\nDriven by the energy of the creative process, and with an innate\nability to craft songs that capture a moment, the Midwave Breaks sound\nis purposefully retrospective mixed with the new.\n\nIn keeping with the NZ Music Month ‘Level Up’ theme, Midwave\nBreaks will be supported by one of the senior Rock Bands from\nOtumoetai College, encouraging the next generation of local musicians.\n\nDoors Open 6:30pm, show starts at 7pm\n\n \n\n - info@theincubator.co.nz - https://www.eventspronto.co.nz/midwavebreaks
