In order to get that experience, you need to\nlearn more about the hundreds of materials to be found out there, also\nthe procedure of making your own molds. This is usually one of the\nmain concerns students have.\n\nWe will cover some of the main materials used to mold and cast\nsculptures; providing you with the information you need to go ahead\nand source them for yourself. If you are joining us in a workshop you\nwill be molding your own work!\n\nYour work needs to meet the criteria explained in the PDF\n[https://workshopsculpting.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/PDF-MOLDING-CASTING-WORKSHOP-short-version-3-days.pdf]\nand needs to be submitted for approval.\n\nMATERIAL INCLUDED IN THE COST: \n\n * Material included 2 kg mold making silicon \n * Plaster 6Kg \n * Hydrocal 2Kg \n * Poliurethane Foam 0.6 Kg \n * Poliurethane Resin 1Kg \n * Release agents\n * Disposables (Gloves, cups, wooden sticks, paper, tape)\n * Solvents\n\nTO BE PROVIDED BY THE PARTICIPANT:\n\n * Safety mask with organic filters must be provided by the student.\n * 3 x Object to be moulded - check criteria\n[https://workshopsculpting.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/PDF-MOLDING-CASTING-WORKSHOP-short-version-3-days.pdf]\n * Pictures of the objects need to be submitted for assessment and\napproval before the workshops starts. Unapproved objets to mold might\nnot be suitable for the workshop and potentially it could be rejected.\n\nJavier Murcia [https://javiermurcia.com/] is an artist with more than\n20 years of experience in the art and the entertainment industry.\nTrained as a figurative sculptor with a particular interest in\nanatomy, he has developed a style that plays with the form and the\ndrama in the intention of capturing the soul on his work.\n\n-------\n\nPlaces are limited to 12 participants.\n\n \n - manager@waikatopotters.co.nz - https://www.eventspronto.co.nz/event5627
