DESCRIPTION:SHARE THE STOKE\n\nA weeklong surf camp running from April 19th to 22nd 2022\n(8:30am-3:30pm each day).  It will run at Midway Beach, a safe beach\nfor kids to learn the fundamentals of surfing, develop respect for the\nenvironment and make new friends. With a soft, sandy bottom,\npredictable conditions, a lack of hazards, and plenty of attentive,\npassionate and fully trained instructors, your child will safely play\nin the waves and develop confidence, ocean knowledge and safety. The\nprimary goal of this camp is to teach kids to properly assess ocean\nrisks, have fun in nature and introduce them to a healthy activity\nthey can do for the rest of their life!\n\nKids (aged 5-12yrs) will be split into 3 groups depending on their\nlevel of surfing (beginner, intermediate and advanced), with the\nability to advance their skills throughout the week and advance to the\nnext group. The coaches are there to provide water safety and to\nmaximise fun! There will be tandem rides, party waves and plenty of\nbeach games.\n\nA rough outline of what a normal day would look like (8:30am-3:30pm):\n\n       -Sunscreen up\n\n      -Warmup game\n\n      -Get kids into wetsuits/split into groups\n\n      -Health and safety discussion\n\n      -2 hours of water time (or land time, no one is being\nforced to surf)\n\n      -Pull kids out of the water for lunch \n\n      -Post lunch discussion about ocean knowledge and beach\nsafety\n\n      -2 more hours of water time\n\n      -High fives and pack up for the day\n\n-WHAT IS PROVIDED:  Certified surf instructors, sun cream, water,\nsurfboards and wetsuits.  But if you have a board and wetsuit, feel\nfree to bring it!\n\n-WHAT IS NOT:  Lunch, snacks and photo package.  Let us know if you\nwant some water angles of your kids sharing in the stoke!
