DESCRIPTION:Please donate!  Help with restoration of villages and livelihoods in\nthose communities in Tonga displaced or badly affected by the recent\nvolcanic eruption and tsunami.\n\nCURRENT SITUATION\n\n 	* At least 2,390 people (2.4 per cent of the country’s population)\nor 465 households were displaced. The homes of 60 per cent of those\nhouseholds have been severely damaged or destroyed. \n 	* Of the 465 households, 54 per cent are in the main island\nTongatapu, 31 per cent in Ha’apai Island group, and 15 per cent in\n‘Eua; \n 	* Immediate water and food needs are being met by partner\ngovernments\n\nReconstruction of villages wiped out by the tsunami and help with\nlivelihoods will be urgent but have complex priorities\n\nAll donations less only bank and credit cards fees for collection will\nbe for the direct benefit of the Tongan communities.
