DESCRIPTION: Slip can be a very versatile way of adding colour to your ceramic\nwork. It’s great for both functional and sculptural work and in this\npractical and hands on workshop, we’ll explore many ways as to how\nyou can use slip in your practise. \n   \n This workshop an introduction and teaser to various techniques and\npossibilities. You’ll be able to work on your own pieces during the\nday and by the time you go home, you’ll hopefully have many new\ncreative ideas to pursue. \n   \n We will touch the following areas: \n\n 	* Recipes and mixing\n 	* Paper slip\n 	* Application - how and when (for ex banding, slip trailing,\nsponging & brushing)\n 	* Sgraffito\n\n The cost includes materials to make slip, including stains, and the\nuse of tools and equipment.
