DESCRIPTION:Effective coaching and mentoring promotes creativity, performance and\nresilience, giving organisations a competitive edge and an effective\nway to operate within an environment of continuous change.\n\nSuccessful organizations recognise that managers must be able to coach\ntheir employees and each other, and have included coaching in their\nmanagement/leadership development.\n\nIncreasingly, organisations are realizing the many benefits of\ndeveloping talent through coaching and mentoring. Since LMA first\nbegan conducting its Leadership Employment and Direction (L.E.A.D.)\nSurvey in 2000, the development and coaching of others and building\nrelationships (both internal and external) have featured amongst the\nmost important leadership competencies expected of leaders. The most\nrecent findings affirm that these remain two of the five most\nimportant competencies in the eyes of employees.\n\nToday companies are turning to coaching and mentoring to harness the\nvalue of internal employee resources to develop others, which saves\ntime, cost, and increases overall employee satisfaction.\n\nThe impact of coaching and mentoring within organisations is proven.\nHowever, effectively coaching and mentoring others or establishing\nprograms for coaching and mentoring can still be a challenge.\n\nThis introductory four module course equips managers and leaders with\nthe skills and knowledge to effectively coach and mentor within their\norganisation or network. It provides them with a comprehensive\noverview of the importance of Above the Line attitudes for effective\ncoaching and mentoring. It assists them in developing the personal\ncharacteristics and the communication and relationship skills to\neffectively motivate others to achieve.\n\nComprising four modules on a weekly basis, the Above the Line Coaching\nand Mentoring course is delivered through a blend of different\nlearning experiences to produce meaningful results.\n\nFor more information\n[https://leadershipmanagement.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2018/09/Above-the-Line-Coaching-and-Mentoring_NZ-DIGITAL-1.pdf]\n - shona@implement.co.nz - https://www.eventspronto.co.nz/event2040
