DESCRIPTION:THE MIGHTY WAIKATO POTTERY THROWDOWN\nAn annual fun event for WSP members of all ages and abilities.\n\nThere'll be prizes and olumpic medals to be won. Here's some of the\nevents that will be happening on the day. Please head over to the\nticket page and tick the challenges you're most interested in. And if\nyou're bursting with the best idea ever flick us an email.\n\n 	*\n_Tallest structure_ – an individual hand-building challenge, build\nthe tallest piece you can in 10 minutes with your allocated piece of\nclay.\n\n 	*\n_Blindfolded Hand building_ – no limits, other than you can’t see\nwhat you’re doing. You have 10 minutes to build anything you’d\nlike.\n\n 	*\n_Tiniest teapot_ – how small can you make a teapot? Can you make it\nfunctional? Can you win a prize for your tiny, functional teapot?\n\n 	*\n_The Two Person Throw _– two people, using one hand each, making a\npot together. Will it end in triumph or trantrum?\n\n 	*\n_The Blindfolded Throw_ – you get to use all your hands, but you\ncan’t see what they’re doing. Have a go at throwing a pot to the\nsame size and shape as the demo piece.\n\n 	*\n_The Transformation Challenge_ – take a pre-thrown bowl and go at\nit, get as creative as you please and transform it into your own\nmasterpiece.\n\n 	*\n_The Clay Bouquet_ – make a pottery posy, pretty as a picture.\n\n 	*\n_The two person handle pull_ – how many potters does it take to\npull a handle? In this instance, two!\n\n 	*\n_The Throwing and Hand Building Mash-up_ – Hand builders grab your\nwheel thrower, wheel-throwers grab your hand builder. One of you will\nthrow a pot, the other will alter and decorate it.\n\n 	*\n_The Scariest Thing_ – get wild, get dark and give the judge\nnightmares.\n\n 	*\n_The Tag Team Bonkers Build _– it’s all hands on the clay for the\nteam collab challenge.
