DESCRIPTION:MONDAY 7TH APRIL, 6PM-8PM\n\nA one-off class where you will learn about loading and firing kilns.\nIf you'd like to learn how to load the WSP kilns so you can hire them\nfor your own work; or if you've bought your own kiln recently and\nwould like to learn about how to stack it safely, this class will give\nyou all the info you need.\n\n Larissa will talk about and demonstrate:\n\n 	* Safely stacking the work and the shelves \n 	* The difference between a bisque stack and a glaze stack\n 	* Clearance between pieces\n 	* Using kiln wash on shelves, cookies and kiln props\n 	* The difference between a bisque firing programme and a glaze\nfiring programme\n 	* The difference  between loading an electric kiln and a gas kiln\n\nYou don't need to bring anything with you, you'll be practising with\nthe work already in the studio.\n\nYOUR TUTOR:\nDavid is a very experienced potter with a wealth of experience. He\nregularly teaches classes across the Waikato as well as here at\nWSP. David is an engineer and approaches pottery with a view to solid\nconstruction, and addresses not just the "how", but the "why" as well.\n\n \n\n_TERMS AND CONDITIONS_\n\n_The Waikato Society of Potters (WSP) reserves the right to cancel a\nclass if it fails to achieve minimum enrolment numbers, for reasons\noutside of our control. A full refund will be given if the class is\ncancelled by the WSP less a 5% credit card fee. If a student cancels\ntheir enrolment within 72 hours of the first class starting, no refund\nwill be given. If a student cancels their booking less than 7 days\nprior to the event a 50% administration charge will be deducted from\nthe refund.
