She established the volunteer service at\nWaikato Hospital and worked for nine years as a regional advisor for\nVolunteering Waikato. Currently Chris is an advisor for the volunteer\nservice at Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora Waikato, as well as\nproviding training, coaching and mentoring to Not-For-Profits in best\npractice volunteer engagement.\n\n_'Working with volunteers is satisfying, challenging, and hugely\nenriching - and requires leadership, resources and resilience. Our\nsector is at a critical crossroads where transformational change is\nrequired to meet the needs of both volunteers and our communities.
