To hear and see what makes her tick come\nalong to her artist's talk and potluck dinner at the WSP\nstudios. All welcome.\n\nFRIDAY 23RD AUGUST 7PM. \n\nPLEASE BRING A PLATE TO SHARE AND SOMETHING TO DRINK IF YOU WISH.\nTea, coffee and water will be provided.\n\nABOUT ANDREA:\n\nBorn in Kirikiriroa/Hamilton, Andrea du Chatenier is a sculptor turned\nceramicist.  She has received numerous grants and awards for her\naccomplished and challenging work, including selection for the Sao\nPaulo Biennale, the Wallace Arts Trust Vermont Award, and the Portage\nCeramics Residency Award at Guldagergaard, Denmark. In 2022 Andrea was\nawarded the Blumhardt Foundation Gift for her contribution to New\nZealand Craft. \n\nAfter completing the Tylee Cottage Artist Residency at the Sarjeant\nGallery in 2004, Andrea set up studio in Whanganui. With her current\npractice du Chatenier has turned her focus to  exploring the inherent\nqualities of the medium.
