DESCRIPTION:A series of five workshops spaced three weeks apart with peer group\nsupport to explore, build and practice ways of being a leader in the\nsocial sector. Nicky Benson will facilitate insights, provide tools\nand frameworks and ground learning in practice to build your\ncompetence and confidence in leading others in an unpredictable world.\n The outline below is indicative, with an opportunity to co-create\nsome content as we travel together.\n\nMONDAY 12 FEB 2024 - WORKSHOP 1 PERSONAL LEADERSHIP  \n\nUnderstanding who you are, owning your story and increased awareness\nof what drives your behaviour is critical to being a leader. Get\nclearer on your own personal brand, have techniques to harness stress\nand optimize your own energy to be in the best state to be an\nauthentic and inclusive leader.\n\nMONDAY 4 MARCH 2024 - SESSION 2 BUILDING HIGH PERFORMING TEAMS \n\nHow do we as leaders build high performance. In this workshop we will\nexplore the building blocks of high performing teams, the challenges\nand opportunities of leading teams, including  working virtually or\nin a hybrid environment. Understanding our own communication style and\nhow we flex to meet the needs of others and build motivation.\n\nMONDAY 25 MARCH 2024 - SESSION 3 BEING A COACH THROUGH CHANGE \n\nDevelop your competence and confidence in supporting others to step up\nand reach their potential. In this workshop you will hone your\ncommunication skills to build confidence and competence in being a\ncoach, delegating and having check -in conversations. We will also\nexplore the conversations needed to support people through change.\n\nMONDAY 15 APRIL 2024 - SESSION 4 LEANING INTO COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS\n\n\nHaving the courage to have the conversations that matter is critical\nas a leader. You will have frameworks to structure and practice\nconversations you find more challenging and an understanding of how we\ncan reduce resistance and partner with others to find a way forward.\n\nMONDAY 6 MAY 2024 - SESSION 5 LEADERSHIP IS A JOURNEY \n\nReflection, key insights, challenge and opportunities. This final\nsession gives an opportunity for us to consolidate our insights and\nlearnings. With 25 years’ experience gained internationally, Nicky\nhas been running her own coaching and facilitation practice in NZ for\nover 20 years. Her clients in NZ span all sectors and she is also a\nFacilitator and Coach for The Global Women Breakthrough Leaders and\nActivate Programs and an Associate with Diversity Works in the area of\nInclusive Leadership.\n\nNicky is passionate about assisting leaders to drive change and\nperformance in their organisations, lead through complexity and helps\nleaders develop courage, flexibility and resilience true to their own\nleadership style to drive inclusive, high-performance cultures.
