Surfing Nationals Ambrose Golf Tournament

We are running a fun, social Ambrose Golf Tournament as part of the 2026 Surfing Nationals week in Gisborne and would love to see you there! Bring your mates, family and supporters and enjoy a fun afternoon at Poverty Bay Golf Club.

Event details are below:

• Date: Friday 16 January 2026

• Format: 9-hole Ambrose

• Teams: 4 players per team

• Entry Fee: $100 per team

• Tee-off: 3:00 pm

• Finish: Approx. 7:00 pm

• Location: Poverty Bay Golf Club, 381 Lytton Road, Awapuni, Gisborne 4010.

What’s included:

• 9 holes of Ambrose golf

• Dinner & drinks available after play

• Prize-giving following the round

• Best Team Prize: Voucher from The Neighbourhood Pizzeria

• Additional spot prizes on the day

We’re expecting a fun, social afternoon with players from the NZ surfing community and local supporters. This is a fundraiser and all proceeds will go towards Junior Surf Development.
