  STUDIO ON THE SQUARE PAINTING COMPETITION & EXHIBITION                    

                      

We are very happy to invite you to participate in another exciting painting competition and exhibition at the SQUARE EDGE COMMUNITY ARTS GALLERY  to be held in the month of  August 2024.

The prize pool is $3000, all works are for sale and the voting is by people's choice at the prize-giving event on August 8. 

This event has been very successful in the past, showcasing the talents of the artists of the Manawatu as well as emerging artists. This is your chance to get your work in a gallery!

  • First prize for adults $100
  • Four prizes of $300 for adults
  • Eight prizes of $100 for children (under 16 years)
  • Entry is open to Manawatu and the surrounding areas.
  • All works must be for sale
  • All works must be new artworks involving "painting"
  • There is no theme.
  • Sales commission goes to Square Edge Community Arts
  • Judging is by people's choice
  • Entry fees are - $45 for adults or two for $70, $25 for children.
  • Entry forms and payments must be in by July 10
