These Workshops blend local and regional experience and practice with insights from visiting Canadian community innovation expert Jamie Gamble.

Sustainable, inclusive growth is ONLY possible through collective, cross sector action. If you’re working to transform policy, accelerate systems change, drive local partnerships or activate on the frontline, come to share your learning, and develop your toolkit. Bring your colleagues, project partners, experience, questions and perspectives to deepen your practice. You can register for one workshop, or both. Pricing if you register for both includes lunch.

9.30am-noon

Collaboration in complex, rapid change

Inclusive and sustainable growth are big agendas in our communities small and large in the BoP. It's ONLY achievable if we can quickly accelerate our willingness and capability to work together more, especially with communities so frequently "left out". Join this workshop for tips and tools to accelerate collaboration for results and common agendas, including stories from afar.

1.00-4.00pm

Are we making progress? – A Masterclass about evaluating big community agendas

Sustainable and inclusive growth is a common agenda for communities across our region. How do we really know if we're making a difference both locally and regionally? Join this workshop to learn about evaluative approaches that have worked for multiple communities and stakeholders. Jamie has led evaluation strategies for big movements across Canada and will share key tips and tools for us to "dive deeper" on.

These workshops are brought to our communities by a collaboration of SociaLink, Bay of Connections, Priority One, Smart Growth, Toi EDA, Inspiring Communities, and Bay Trust
