Children - Thursday - Fundamentals of Drawing

These classes are designed to teach young artists theory and realistic drawing techniques, such as proportion, shading and perspective.  Each week, they will learn a new skill, initially working from provided images and then moving onto their own chosen projects and drawing from real-life.

Materials:

  • Visual diary A3 
  • 4B pencil 
  • 6B pencil 
  • Coloured Pencils - optional
  • Eraser
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Ruler

 

Location:

All classes, workshops and social events are held in our Art Space, in the rear courtyard of Square Edge Community Arts Centre, 47 The Square.  After 3.00 pm, please enter and exit via Jersey Lane, off Fitzherbert Avenue.
