Adults - Flower Painting Workshop (One-day, Sunday)

Spend the day with artist Robyn Laing, painting a floral still life in acrylic. Robyn will guide you through the process, from composition design, to  sketching, to painting. Suitable for beginners or the more experienced. If you are unsure about materials, please email us.

Tutor: Robyn Laing

 

Materials:

  • Pencil and paper for drawing or note-taking    
  • 2 x surfaces - canvas or board or canvas paper, approx 14" x 16" 
  • Paints (acrylic) - red, yellow, blue, plus white and a dark colour
  • Brushes from large to fine
  • Paper towels for clean up
  • Palette or old plate
  • Note - you will most likely only have time to complete one painting

 

Location:

All classes, workshops and social events are held in our Art Space, in the rear courtyard of Square Edge Community Arts Centre, 47 The Square.  After 3.00 pm, please enter and exit via Jersey Lane, off Fitzherbert Avenue.
