Christopher Everest is a recent graduate of the New Zealand School of Music (under the tutelage of Dr. Jane Curry and Owen Moriarty) and has performed all around the country as a soloist as well as various ensembles such as The New Baroque Generation, Kohwaiwhai Duo, What the Pluck?, and many more. During his time at the New Zealand School of Music, Chris gained scholarship to study with Dr. Paul Cesarczyk at the prestigious Mahidol College of Music, Thailand. Sponsored by both ‘Waikanae Music Society’ and ‘Lankhuyzen/Whetu-Kairangi Masonic Trust’ Christopher is touring around NZ presenting a diverse programme of music ranging from 18th Century violin transcriptions to 20/21 Century works inspired the music on Turkey and the Middle East.
