This workshop follows on from the Introduction to Power BI (Level 1) training and will introduce you to the Microsoft’s Power BI report visualisations.
In this hands- on workshop you will learn:
- the essential methods of creating and formatting visuals
- how to create, manage and format action buttons, cards, multi-row cards, slicers, tables, maps, decomposition trees, matrices, charts (including scatter, pie, donut, waterfall, ribbon and bar charts), smart narratives, Q&A buttons and more
- to set up reports for easy navigation, interaction via a mobile device
- to publish to a Power BI service for easy access by others
Who should attend
Those who have attended Power BI - Level 1 or have been taught best practices on how to connect and transform data with another training provider.
Prerequisites
The Power BI Get and Transform Data course Level 1 is a prerequisite to this course. Please contact us if you have some previous experience working with Power BI and have not attended the Level 1 training.
Please bring your laptop, with Microsoft Power BI Desktop installed, for a hands-on workshop with lots of practical exercises facilitated by the very experienced and knowledgeable Cathi Barker from Software Solutions.
