Do you feel equipped to respond to someone in a moment of distress?

Do you have a First Responder in your organisation?

Mental Health First Response is made up of one day of intimate group training. It delivers key understandings, skills and practices so people can provide first response and co-care support for your wider community or workplace. This succinct and robust training enables them to respond quickly and effectively.

Note: this training is also valid as a recertification for your Mental Health First Aid certificate.

This one day course is made up of four 90min modules, from 9am-5pm.

1. Mental Health Support Platforms - this session creates a strong foundation for all understandings of best support practices.

2. CRISIS Response - this session develops confidence to respond to mental health crises.

3. CONVOS Support Framework - this session guides you through a conversational framework to help you provide mental health support early.

4. Practice - build confidence by practicing the skills and applying it to your context in this session.

This entire process was extremely eye opening on how best to assist others in times of distress and discomfort. It is a skill every single person should have and the training experience was 10/10. I now have the adequate tools to use and help others.

Steve Mullally, Vector.
