Colourful Ceramic Decoration using Underglazes

It's a treat to have Anett Pilz back with her expensive knowledge about glazes!

This is the first of 2 workshops delving into the world of glazes.  

Anett will be explaining the different methods of using underglaze on unfired pottery. You will learn and practise five different techniques to create pattern:

- Brushing: create a band of bright colour

- Brushing: create a thin line

- Sgraffito

- Applying dots of slip

- Slip trailing

Anett will also be demonstrating how to apply five other techniques:

- Stamping

- Stencils

- Carving

- Mishima (inlay slip)

- Transfer Paper

 

DATE: Saturday 13 May

TIME: 10am - 12pm

All materials provided.

Open to the beginner and advanced Potter.
